In *Creation of the Mechanical Nursery*, Mandy is confronted by a boastful colleague whose new invention soon spirals into chaos. When she asserts her authority, the machine malfunctions as the antagonist reveals tampered programming, trapping her in a regressive "babification" process. Through chemical intervention and reprogramming, Mandy is sold for adoption, helplessly regressing within the very nursery she once controlled.
