In an Edwardian court, a maid named Josefine is subjected to a severe fifteen-stroke corporal punishment by officials Bart and Jim after being caught in her master's bedroom. Throughout the ordeal, the officials remain cold and callous, counting the strokes while gossiping about local scandals. After the punishment, a sobbing Josefine is forced to clean the floor as the officials dismissively chat about sports and weekend plans, showing complete apathy toward her distress.
