In 1970, pious housewife Betsy Carpenter violently attacks her teenage daughter Nelly after catching her masturbating to Alice Cooper, then summons Reverend Albert to "save" her. The manipulative reverend convinces Betsy that Nelly is possessed, and under the guise of exorcism, he strips and binds the terrified girl before sending her mother away.
