In an abandoned Kandahar village, U.S. Lieutenant Grace Collins and young informant Fatima are subjected to severe physical, psychological, and sexual torture by Taliban commander Abdul Jaleel and his men. After a failed escape attempt, Jaleel reveals that Fatima has betrayed Grace by working for him, mocking their hopeless situation as he prepares to continue their torment.
