L’Agnone (Guido Buzzelli)

Synopsis

A playwright, forced by the criminal Majesty to direct a brutal real-life performance, remains trapped in psychological torture and creative suppression. After a coup, the new regime's Ministry of Culture attempts to coerce him into sanitizing his work, which he defiantly refuses, leading to his violent capture alongside his companion, Tek. The artist is left broken and bound as his tormentors mock his defiance, with the work analyzing Buzzelli's motif of self-fragmentation and the cyclical nature of power.
