Otherworldly, Chapter 1: The White Unicorn (Casgra)

Synopsis

Sue-Anne’s terminal psychological dissolution unfolds within the surreal, decaying ruins of Casgra, where a foundational trauma has warped her from victimhood into a masochistic identification with her own suffering. By page 77, her struggle for survival has dissolved into a catatonic drift, marked by profound identity loss and a fetishistic detachment that collapses the boundary between her fractured psyche and the crumbling city. She now wanders the nightmarish landscape in an erratic cycle of dissociation, interacting with the environment as an extension of her own broken self.
