Road to Crux (Zaz)

A former brothel owner, Barbaria, is marched to her wrongful crucifixion for a senator's murder, her mind racing to identify the true culprit. Spotting a former employee in the jeering crowd, she desperately proclaims her innocence. When she collapses under the cross's weight, a soldier assaults her with his whip to brutal cheers, forcing her onward to her grim fate.
