In a dark fantasy tale, sisters Maya and Meena, already broken by captivity and forced pregnancy, are dragged onto a public stage for Balzack’s “Stage Prison.” Under his “Fuddle” spell, their free will erodes as they are tormented into lewd dances and explicit acts before a jeering crowd, their degradation captured and celebrated.
