Synopsis

After King Minos enslaves and brutalizes the women of Athens, the imprisoned Theseus vows revenge. He escapes the Labyrinth and confronts the tyrant, turning the court's own cruelty against it in a violent coup. With the kingdom now his, Theseus claims the abused princess Ariadne, his triumph foreshadowing a future betrayal.
