In the post-collapse wasteland, former accountant Melanie Compter, now called Rana, escapes her brutal enslavement by the Assrippers gang by leveraging her corporate-tax expertise to reframe herself as a depreciable asset. She manipulates her way into a coldly transactional "employment" deal with the calculating Renisch, who purchases her at a secret slave auction to maintain his business facade. Now safe but still trapped, Rana must continue her high-stakes performance of feigned submission and sexual availability, pitching elaborate tax-avoidance schemes to Renisch's gang while hoping his personal obsession with her buys her enough time to turn the tables.
