The Making of the Puppet (Taszjekt)

A jealous woman named Janice kidnaps a rival actress, incapacitates her with chloroform, and builds a hollow wooden puppet body to encase her in the theater workshop. The victim awakens inside the half-constructed shell and kicks Janice, causing her to fall and suffer a fatal head injury. Trapped and suffering sensory deprivation, the actress is later forced to exist as a living puppet, finding a strange solace in movement while yearning for a normal life with her captor, Tom.
