The Mistress and Servant (Mathew Hopkins)

In 1627 Muhlenburg, the disgraced Lady Ausgeld endures a torturous execution on the breaking wheel for her past crimes, including the wrongful death of her slave Edith. As the executioner shatters her limbs, her fellow prisoners and some in the crowd witness her agony with grim satisfaction. In the aftermath, the spirits of her victims find peace while her legacy crumbles into further tragedy.
