The Ordeals of Sarah Thompson (Veronica Kane)

Hi followers, I am letting you all know that we are about to post a new story here in DFN (and DA too). The title is is "The Ordeals of Sarah Templeton". This is the first of two stories that will feature many of the same characters but about 11 years apart. "The Ordeals of Sarah Templeton" takes place in 1919 and is set in Watertown and China (I have visited China twice in my personal life). The titular character is loosely based on a real person, Canadian-American evangelists, Aimee Semple McPherson. The second story is yet untitled but will take place around 1930 during prohibition and will involve a female codebreaker also based on real life. The villians of these two pieces will be La Mano del Diavolo with a brief appearance by the Dragon's Disciples. The incidents in this first story have been referred to in other stories that we have posted. I thought it would be about time to actually present the story. It might get pretty grim. There will be an interlude in between these two stories in which we are going to provide a preview of sorts that will give you a glimpse of what is going to be featured in the next modern day story taking place in Springdale. I hope you all find this entertaining.
