Virgin (Zell)

Chosen in a sinister lottery, Augustine is dragged into the Duke’s castle and bound in the Drawing Palace, where she realizes she has been delivered for sexual violation before sacrifice. The lecherous Duke ignores her screams, brutally assaulting her while coldly taunting that she is merely a virgin offering for the dragon Draco, her suffering fleeting entertainment before death. He dismisses her with mocking politeness, concluding the ordeal like a routine transaction before her inevitable end.
