Maddy O'Reilly is a very skilled hacker. For years she has been stealing classified images and information from secret government servers. One day, federal agents break down her door, pin her to the bed, cuff her, and take her to an unknown location.
When she wakes up, she finds herself in a dark and terrifying place. She is locked in a tiny cage next to another girl who looks like she has been there for a very long time. They force her to strip completely naked while a man with a taser watches her.
From that moment on, her real nightmare begins.
The agents discovered that she downloaded thousands of images of advanced torture techniques used by the government. As punishment, they decide to test all those techniques on her — even though she has no useful information to give.
