The Glob (Creature Chronicles 2)

Stranded at a remote New Mexico gas station, Valery Ballentine discovers a massacre and is attacked by a monstrous "Glob." The creature subjects her to a prolonged violation, retreating only with the dawn, which offers her a desperate chance to escape. She flees after destroying the station, but the fate of the mysterious entity remains uncertain.
